Homeless shelter will be rebuilt in Awiel, Sudan

• Needed for returning refugees
• Italian Comboni Missionary Fathers minister here

Sister is helping Garang Kiir Nagour from St. Ambrose Sudanese Catholic Community raise money for this cause.

• To purchase building material, furniture
• To serve as a preventive homeless shelter
• To serve those who are sick

· Held back $337.34 excess for future needs

St. Theresa House - Update (Celeste)

· House in good order

· Needs Better Employment

· Firestone position did not work out

· Wants to get into the Automotive Department at Wal-Mart

· Long term goal is to be a mechanic

· Brother may move in

· Would help with expenses

· Anita helping with finances

· Taxes Completed

· Reviewing types of bank accounts and charges

· Water bill needs paid

Coffee Sales Instruction Update (Anita Holub)

· Coffee Sales March 29, 30 2008.

o Verify included in mass announcements before 4:30 Saturday Night Mass

o Coffee prices increased by 50 cents

o Chocolate price increase by 25 cents

· St. Theresa top among all churches in combined contributions

· $36,276.48

· May 15 Awards Banquet

· Will provide information on the latest action alerts and justice opportunities locally and globally
