DMARC Emergency Food Pantry

The Food Pantry collection is held every 3rd weekend of the month.  Donations of canned and packaged food are brought to the altar or monetary donations can be placed in the baskets on either side of the altar.  All donations are given to DMARC (Des Moines Area Religious Council) who coordinates all donations from member congregations.  DMARC then makes distributions to Des Moines area food pantries.  Cash donations are used to purchased fresh foods such as meat, produce and dairy items.  For more information on the Food Pantry contact Kathie Swift at 279-6166.

In addition to donating items for these collections, St. Theresa needs volunteers to transport the monthly food pantry collections to DMARC.  For more information on the 5th Sunday Personal Care Collections, contact Jane and Jim Klemm 987-7706.
