Old Business:

•Patrick Benoit is the new second Vice President on the PTC Board.

Garage sale—volunteers are working on the feasibility and logistics of a Spring Sale.  Nothing set yet.  More info in January.

New Business:

A bylaw revision was proposed regarding Article V, Section 2, #4 in the PTC bylaws.  Discussion was held regarding the 2 consecutive term same office limitation.  Looked at the

situation where no one new can or will take the office and the outgoing officer would like to

continue but has held the office for 2 consecutive terms.  Could change to 3 consecutive terms to be more in line with other Parish appointments.  Could have a clause for an exception in the case of no new willing candidate.  Potential revision will be posted for 30 days minimum through edline.  Will vote on this revision in January.

•Subcommittee formed to work on volunteer survey revision.

Shop & Share not being utilized by families this year.  Only one slip has been turned in at Hy-vee

for the months of August, September, and October.  Katie Olsen gave an overview of what Shop & Share is and how it works.  Dates for Shop & Share are available on the STS website and you can download the forms there.  Dates go out in Friday folders and bulletin as well.  Suggestion was made to have teachers include it on the send home calendars.  Use your Hy-vee SCRIP cards with shop & share and benefit STS in two ways at once.

Ministry Fair will be January 16 & 17, 2010.  PTC will have a display.

US Cellular has a contest currently where they will award $100,000 to 10 schools.  Adults can vote for STS by stopping in to a US Cellular, no purchase required and no sales pitch.

Looking for a volunteer to coordinate teacher/staff holiday gifts.  Will check with Connie Kirvin.

Dave Kouri discussed the St. Theresa visioning process.  The Parish Council is asking PTC to complete the packet and to think of big ideas.
