REMINDERS FROM THE OFFICE
 

1. Please send a handwritten note to the office when your child needs to be excused from school for any reason.
    

2. If your child is absent for longer than 3 days because of illness, a doctor’s note is required to return to school.
    

3. If your child is ill, please call the office before 8:30 a.m. each day of their illness. If you e-mail the child's teacher, you still need to call the office.
    

4. If your transportation plans change for your child, please send a note to their teacher on the day of the change. Without a note, your child will be sent home the way you indicated at the beginning of the year.
    

5. Please make sure your children have appropriate clothes for recess. They will go outside everyday for recess unless the wind chill is below zero. Please make sure your child’s name is marked on all their clothing.
    

6. Early dismissals due to weather will be announced on KRNT, WHO and KIOA radio stations as well as local television stations. It will also be posted on the St. Theresa web site at sainttheresaiowa.org. Due to limited phone lines, please do not call the school office.
